Eine illustre Sammlung, die den Hörer mehr als vier Stunden lang quer durch Morricones Filmmusiken aus vier Jahrzehnten lotst.
Gleichwohl ist sich Morricone treu geblieben, dieser Meister der Orchestrierung mit exzellentem Rhythmusgefühl und einem Sinn für magische Lyrismen.
Romantische Elegien und bizarre Parodien liegen nicht weit auseinander, musikalischer Zauber und Witz entfalten sich gleichermaßen im pointiertem Gewand.

JUST ANOTHER BAND is probably the closest Zappa and company ever came to putting music second to comedy.
